phil-vision GmbH and 36ZERO Vision announce their new premium partnership. Together, the two companies are combining their technological strengths to offer high-precision and scalable solutions for machine vision, quality control and AI-based inspection.

phil-vision GmbH is a specialist in industrial image processing, surface inspection and flexible, manufacturer-independent system integration. The company develops individual inspection solutions for a wide variety of materials and detects surface defects such as impurities, scratches, cracks, false colors or burn marks. In addition, phil-vision offers extensive experience in the inspection of waviness, roughness, color, gloss level or texture as well as in optical measurement and 2D/3D inspection.

The projects range from the detection of defects on ceramic components and scratch detection on cell phone surfaces to the quality inspection of filter grids, food packaging and components in the automotive industry.

36ZERO Vision complements this expertise with a proprietary, AI-based software platform for visual quality inspection. The solution uses deep learning and a novel, robust algorithm to detect defects down to the pixel level - even under variable lighting conditions. The platform recognizes defect patterns instead of mere anomalies, enabling extremely precise, automated quality control.

The technology is hardware-independent, designed as a no-code self-service and can be integrated into both existing production lines and new systems. Manufacturers can teach error types with just a few sample images, which makes implementation particularly efficient.
